How to Create a Landing Page in WordPress | 3 Methods

This article covers how to create a Landing Page in WordPress.

A landing page is created to convert the visitor into a potential customer. The main purpose of the landing page is to encourage visitors to click the button, the call to action.

So after clicking the link, visitors are directly sent to the landing page from email, search engines, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, websites, or any ads running on these networks.
The landing page may sell services, digital products, courses, subscriptions, etc.

How to Create a Landing Page in WordPress With a Plugin

A landing page can be easily created in WordPress using a plugin. Two methods can be used to create a landing page. In the first method, you can use a ready-made template. It is an easy method as you just edit the template.

The second method allows to create landing page, by joining ready-made sections or using custom sections. This method is more customizable.
Now let’s create a landing page in WordPress using the plugin step by step.

Install the Landing Page Plugin

In the search box search for the Landing Page. You will see several Landing page plugins.

Will will install the SeedProd plugin.

To install click “Install Now” After installation, click “Activate” to activate the plugin

After activation, you will see the Setup wizard. We will skip it and install it from the dashboard. To skip click “Exit Setup”.

Create Landing Page in WordPress Using Ready made Template.

Go to the left sidebar in the WordPress dashboard, Find and Click SeedProd.

Now you will see the Page to start page creation. Now click Create New Landing Page at the bottom.

On the next page, you can select your page category as  Coming Soon, Maintenance, 404 Page, Sales, Webinar, Lead Squeeze, Thank You, and Login.

This will help narrow down the selection numbers of templates and you will find your category template easily.

I will select Sales as the category.

Now click the template you want to use to create a Landing page.

Now enter the name of your Landing page and click Save and Start Editing Page.

Now you can see a template. You can change text and pictures according to your needs. 

To make any change click the area and you will see the options to delete, copy, etc.

To change text click the text and write or paste your own text in the title and paragraph.

You can easily change pictures with your images. 

To replace the picture, click the picture. This will show an image thumbnail left sidebar. When you hover the mouse over the picture thumbnail, it will show two icons. Click the orange icon to upload your picture to replace the old image.

We also changed the button title from Let’s Cook to Let’s Start by clicking and adding new text.

You can see in the next picture we have changed the picture, button title, and paragraph text successfully.

Now we have to change the icon. The old icon is DINS click it near the top bar or you can find it in the left sidebar. Replace it as you changed other pictures.

You can see, that we have customized the landing page. We used our logo it10x, right side image, and text.

You can make changes in all sections of the page similarly. It is very easy.

You can also make changes in templates from the template tab at the top of the left sidebar.  

You can also do advance setting. As shown in the next picture.

In the page setting option, you can change settings.

Create a Landing page in WordPress Using custom sections

This is second method in which we join section template to create a landing page in WordPress. We can add as many sections according to our needs.

To start go to the WordPress left side bar and click SeedProd.

After click you will see first box. when you hover mouse over it, it will show check mark. Click this mark.

You will see a prompt box, Fill your page name.

Now click Save and Start Editing the Page

In top bar select Design and Section in sub menu.

You can see a list of sections in the left sidebar. You can choose one by one to add to your landing page according to your page needs. You can add or left any section. This picture shows collection of Hero sections.

In next picture you can see Call to Action sections collection.

So you can see you can use ready made section to create landing page.

Full Customize Landing Page

In this method you can create landing page in WordPress using block in each section. So you can customize every section fully. And these section together make your landing page.

To create landing page select Design in to menu bar and Blocks in sub menu.

Now you can add individual block to the section and create section in various ways.

You can use as many section by adding blocks.

This method is little time consuming but you can create fully custom landing page

Publish Your Landing Page in WordPress

After Creating the landing page and saving it, we need to publish it to make it live.

For that, Select the Design tab in the page editing dashboard. You can see a Save button on the top right side. Click the drop-down menu next to it.  

You will see the Publish button, Click this button.

In the Page Setting tab, you can edit the page title, page URL.

You can also add your affiliate link to earn a commission.. 

By enabling isolation mode you can prevent conflict of hooks like wp_head and wp_footer. However, after enabling the SEO and analytics plugin would not run on the page.
